Job Opportunity: Financial Analyst & Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage financial transactions, perform accounting functions, support audit readiness, and analyze cost center allocations.

The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, knowledge of internal controls, procurement processes, and financial reporting to ensure accuracy, compliance, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Transaction Management & Controls
    • Verify and process financial transactions and vendor invoices.
    • Ensure compliance with payment terms, GST input credit rules, and tax regulations.
    • Coordinate with the finance team to reconcile payments, invoices, and account statements.
    • Validate financial transactions, including purchases, expenses, and fixed assets.
    • Monitor financial balances, advances, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Accounting Functions & Internal Checks
    • Perform detailed accounting entries, including financial transactions, expenses, and asset valuations.
    • Ensure appropriate supporting documents (invoices, approvals, contracts) are in place.
    • Identify anomalies, errors, or discrepancies and flag them for corrective action.
  • Audit Support (Internal & Statutory)
    • Prepare and maintain audit schedules and reconciliations related to financial accounts.
    • Support internal and external auditors with required documentation and clarifications.
    • Implement audit recommendations and strengthen internal controls accordingly.
  • Cost Center Accounting
    • Allocate expenses to correct cost centers in accordance with company policies.
    • Monitor cost center budgets vs actuals and report variances.
    • Assist in financial reporting by preparing cost center-wise P&L statements.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and financial regulations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and accounting software.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills across departments.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
