The Role: Customer Marketing Operations Director

This role combines client management with operational excellence, ensuring events deliver measurable marketing results while leveraging our strengths in audience intelligence and partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with production teams to ensure end-to-end event production from strategy development through post-event analysis for multiple campaigns
  • Translate client objectives into targeted event experiences using proprietary audience intelligence
  • Coordinate with creative teams to ensure event design aligns with broader campaign goals

Client Management & Campaign Execution

  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
  • Lead client calls, present campaign strategies, and provide regular performance updates
  • Collaborate with account management to develop integrated campaigns where events drive lead generation and brand engagement
  • Manage campaign timelines, budgets, and deliverables across clients simultaneously

Team Leadership & Performance Analytics

  • Oversee a team of employees including Regional Success Managers, Audience Acquisition Team Leads, and Data Research Associates
  • Track and analyze campaign performance metrics connecting event activities to marketing outcomes and ROI
  • Use audience data and campaign insights to continuously optimize event experiences and operational processes

Requirements:

  • 12-15 years progressive experience in marketing operations, event marketing, or experiential marketing with leadership responsibility
  • Proven track record managing events at agencies or in-house marketing teams
  • Experience with micro-events and large-scale productions across various industries
  • Background in campaign management with understanding of attribution and ROI measurement

Key Skills:

  • Strong project management capabilities with experience using tools like Asana or Monday.com
  • Vendor management experience including contract negotiation and relationship building
  • Proficiency with marketing technology stack including CRM systems, event platforms, and analytics tools

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience at experiential marketing agencies or event marketing firms
  • Background in B2B marketing with understanding of lead generation and nurturing processes
  • Project management certification (PMP or equivalent)
