Job Description:

The role of a Telecom Engineering Manager is to oversee the implementation and maintenance of telecommunications systems, ensuring seamless communication between clients and customers. This involves designing, engineering, and operating global contact centers built on heterogeneous platforms consisting of cloud-based solutions like Nice InContact, Genesis, Amazon Connect, and AudioCodes.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for collaborating with senior management to develop and execute strategies that align with organizational goals. This includes establishing implementation strategies and metrics-driven processes to ensure quality of delivery and uptime of IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include negotiating with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure and manage infrastructure-related products and services. Additionally, you will develop disaster recovery plans and conduct testing to detect faults.

Another crucial aspect of this role is engaging with clients to understand their business objectives and translating them into technical requirements. You will work closely with business units, IT departments, and external vendors to align telephony solutions with business needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 3-8 years of overall experience in telecommunications or a related field
  • Must have experience in NICE InContact or CXone solutions, including voice, chat, email, and SMS channels
  • Collaboration with architecture teams to design and implement call flows, IVR systems, and backend integrations using APIs
  • Good understanding of contact center domain and relevant certifications an advantage
