Job Title: Financial Decision Maker

The role of a Financial Decision Maker is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of migration activities, process improvements, and system-related initiatives with Workday.

This position will primarily support the upload of insurance-related journals into the system on a monthly basis, while also assisting in the migration of opening balances into Workday for global entities.

In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing reconciliation processes for improved reporting and controls, as well as creating process flow maps for transition from current to future state.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Insurance Journal Uploads: The candidate will be responsible for uploading insurance-related journals into the Workday system on a monthly basis.
  • Migrating Opening Balances: The candidate will assist in migrating opening balances into Workday for global entities.
  • Reconciliation Processes: The candidate will develop reconciliation processes for improved reporting and controls.
  • Process Flow Maps: The candidate will create process flow maps for transition from current to future state.
  • Analytical Support: The candidate will provide analytical support for controls and custom validations in Workday.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Accounting/Finance Degree: A university degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • Work Experience: 3–5 years of relevant work experience is necessary.
  • Excel Skills: Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and formulas, are essential.
  • ERP/Finance Systems: Familiarity with ERP/finance systems, particularly Workday, is preferred.
  • Communication & Analytical Skills: Good communication skills and strong analytical ability are crucial.
  • Insurance Accounting Knowledge: Knowledge of Insurance Accounting is an added advantage.
