Agile Technical Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Scrum Master to lead our cross-functional teams in delivering high-quality products. The ideal candidate will possess deep Agile expertise and a strong understanding of technical systems.

• Agile Facilitation & Coaching:

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to ensure team alignment and progress.

• Guide the team in Agile best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.

• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile principles and delivery discipline to ensure seamless execution.

• Technical Project Delivery:

• Collaborate with Engineering Leads to plan sprint deliveries aligned with release schedules, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.

• Track sprint progress using tools like Jira, identifying technical debt, quality standards, and NFRs for proactive mitigation.

• Proactively identify delivery risks and technical blockers, driving resolution through effective collaboration and communication.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Act as a liaison between Product Managers, Engineering, QA, and UX Designers to ensure alignment and smooth delivery of high-quality products.

• Facilitate clarity in story definitions, handoffs, and design dependencies with the UX team to ensure efficient project execution.

• Ensure backlog items are well-scoped, groomed, and ready for execution to minimize rework and delays.

• Metrics & Reporting:

• Maintain sprint health metrics: velocity, burndown, cumulative flow, team capacity vs. output to drive data-driven decision-making.

• Use data to drive retrospectives and evolve sprint predictability and throughput for continuous improvement.

• Technical Awareness:

• Understand the basics of microservices, APIs, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and QA practices to effectively collaborate with DevOps and QA teams.

• Work with DevOps and QA to ensure readiness for builds, deployments, and test environments, minimizing downtime and ensuring quality.

• Participate in grooming sessions to ensure stories are estimable, testable, and technically viable, reducing rework and improving overall quality.

Must-Haves:

• 2–5 years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Delivery Manager in a technical setup, with a proven track record of success.

• Familiarity working with UX, product, QA, and engineering teams in collaborative sprint environments, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.

• Proficiency with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, and Git, ensuring effective use of technology to drive project success.

• Strong facilitation, communication, and servant leadership skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with team members and stakeholders.

• A technical background (B.Tech / B.E. / MCA or equivalent) or experience working closely with developers/DevOps, ensuring a deep understanding of technical systems and processes.

• Scrum certifications (CSM, PSM I/II), demonstrating a commitment to Agile excellence and continuous learning.

• Experience working with product companies, SaaS teams, or fast-paced startups, with a proven ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities.

• Exposure to scalable delivery frameworks like SAFe, LeSS, or dual-track Agile, ensuring flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.

• Comfortable working in a hybrid setup with presence in Gurugram, with the ability to collaborate with remote teams and stakeholders.
