Senior Renewable Energy Business Development Professional

The Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Associate and Senior Business Developer to join our team. As a key member of our business development unit, you will be responsible for driving growth and asset rotation objectives in compliance with existing business development procedures, strategy, and group investment criteria.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Delivering growth and asset rotation objectives in compliance with existing business development procedures, strategy, and group investment criteria.
- Maintaining in-depth knowledge of all business development activities and regulatory space in the geography through active engagement with various stakeholders.
- Internal documentation and approvals of projects.
- Ensuring compliance and contributing to the smooth approval process.
- Reviewing, validating, and signing off all business development project documentation.
- Presenting and defending projects on behalf of the geography at AMEA and Group level.
- Post-FC or close of acquisition, organizing handover.
- Analyzing and presenting business/project loss cases and drawing conclusions and learning for future development.
- Leading various agreements on Connectivity and ISTS sharing.
- Doing strategic analysis of the ISTS network margins and securing connectivity while supporting the project development team for preliminary DD, in line with BD strategy.
- Selecting and high-level managing partners, contractors, customers, off-takers, regulators, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
Required Skills And Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (required).
- MBA (preferred).
Key Relationships:
- Colleagues in Projects, AIFA, Legal, Tax, and Insurance.
- Equity partners, regulatory bodies, off-takers, vendors/suppliers, lenders, and other financial institutions, investment banks, and advisors.
