We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Estimator. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for developing accurate and comprehensive estimates for various projects.

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry requirements and possess the expertise to properly price projects accordingly. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather necessary project information and ensure accurate estimates.

You will also conduct thorough analysis and research to identify potential cost-saving opportunities and risk mitigation strategies. Effective communication skills are essential to present estimates, address inquiries, and provide recommendations as needed.

Additionally, you will stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continuously improve estimating processes and accuracy.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in estimating within the broadband, telecom, or outside plant industry.
  • Expertise in Excel with the ability to develop complex spreadsheets and models.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong passion for the industry and a drive for excellence.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with team members and clients.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial and industrial low voltage and/or fiber optic cabling project coordination and estimating as combined, related, and relevant Ability to read and understand blueprints, structural drawings, and plan sets
  • Able to comply with and enforce risk management policies and safety procedures
  • Experience preparing budgets for each project
  • Knowledge of construction materials, processes, trade practices and equipment
  • OSHA 10, 30 Certifications preferred
  • Proficiency in using software suites such as Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English.
