Job Title: Telecom Closeout Specialist

This is a pivotal role that oversees the closeout process across various project stages, ensuring accuracy and completeness of project documentation and materials.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for anticipating, managing, and coordinating all steps necessary for project closeout, ensuring compliance with established procedures and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Anticipate, manage, and coordinate all steps necessary for project closeout.
  • Maintain and update project data in designated planning tools while collaborating with project controls team members to verify information.
  • Oversee return of confirmed surplus materials through RMA process, recording items in warehouse and PeopleSoft.
  • Maintain regular communication with project-assigned Video Quality Auditor and Project Controls team to facilitate accurate true-up and turnover documentation.
  • Assist scoping team in promoting RFDS for scopes where drone inspections are not required.
  • Review subcontractor material purchase order requests for potential cost recovery.
  • Own final turnover package, reviewing turnover deliverables submitted by General Contractor and following up regarding corrections or revisions.
  • Act as sole approver for closeout processes in PeopleSoft.
  • Manage JVizion tasks and data fields associated with turnover processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years' industry experience.
  • Good understanding of engineering concepts.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Relevant experience in wireless technology and telecommunications.
  • Engineering certification in related discipline preferred.
  • Working knowledge of industry standard materials.
  • Construction management background.
  • Telecommunication experience of any kind.

A recognized degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent years of work experience is required.
