Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a seasoned leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our logistics team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing manpower planning and shift rostering to maximize productivity.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, with the ability to drive results and foster a positive work environment.

  • Main Responsibilities
  • Compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), facility maintenance, and overall upkeep of facilities.
  • Vehicle management, ensuring timely unloading/loading of vehicles.
  • Ad-hoc vehicle requirements planning based on load profile and coordination with the fleet team.
  • Service level management and performance metric achievement.
  • Interdepartmental communication and coordination.
  • Driving metrics in respective functions, such as inbound operations, outbound operations, floor operations, quality metrics, and first mile metrics.
  • Key Result Areas (KRAs) - Diversity Hiring, Employee Morale, and Employee Safety.
  • Mentoring and capability building of team members.
  • Process improvement identification and implementation.
  • Best practices adoption in shop floor management, including Kaizen, Lean, and Six Sigma.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role within logistics or supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
