Job Title: Senior Data Scientist

At our organization, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Scientist to lead our data science team. This pivotal role involves spearheading data-driven initiatives, developing analytics models, and unlocking valuable insights from raw data.

  • Lead the development of statistical techniques, algorithms, and machine learning models for scalable solutions addressing business challenges across industries.
  • Define, develop, maintain, and evolve data models, tools, and capabilities.
  • Communicate findings through visualizations to relevant teams.
  • Collaborate and communicate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Provide solutions for object detection/image recognition, natural language processing, sentiment analysis, topic modeling, concept extraction, recommender systems, text classification, clustering, customer segmentation/targeting, propensity modeling, churn modeling, lifetime value estimation, forecasting, marketing mix optimization, price optimization.
  • Build, train, and lead a team of data scientists.
  • Follow/maintain agile methodologies for delivering project milestones.
  • Excellent oral, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Experience applying statistical ideas and methods to datasets answering business problems.
  • Mine and analyze data to optimize product development, marketing techniques, and business strategies.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's/PhD degree in Math, Computer Science, Information Systems, Machine Learning, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related technical degrees.
  • 6+ years of total experience with minimum 3 years in a related position as a data scientist or business analyst building computer vision, NLP, and predictive analytics solutions for various business problems.
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch.
  • Programming background and expertise in building models using at least one of Python, R, C, or C++.
  • Strong individual planning and project management skills, able to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Self-motivated and driven to deliver agreed results on-time.
  • Ability to convert analytical output into clear, concise, and persuasive insights & recommendations for technical & non-technical audiences.
  • Strong influence and relationship management skills.
