Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage, design, develop, create, and maintain construction projects of various scales, ensuring they are safe, timely, and sustainable.
  • Conduct site investigations, analyze data, maps, reports, tests, drawings, and other relevant information.
  • Carry out technical and feasibility studies, and draw up blueprints that meet technical specifications.
  • Assess potential risks, materials, and costs, and provide advice on resolving emerging problems or deficiencies.
  • Oversee and mentor staff, liaise with stakeholders, handle over the resulting structures and services for use, and monitor progress.
  • Compile reports on project status, manage budgets, and purchase equipment and materials as required.
  • Comply with guidelines and regulations, including permits, safety protocols, and deliver technical files and documentation as necessary.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in civil engineering, with a focus on project management and delivery.
  • Strong technical skills, with knowledge of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and team members.
  • Ability to think creatively, resolve complex problems, and make informed decisions under pressure.
