Job Title: Process Operator

About the Role

This is a plant-based position, requiring monitoring and maintenance of operations.

  • Maintain the efficient running of the plant by adhering to provided feeding targets from Shift Engineers.
  • Regularly monitor plant parameters and report any abnormalities to Shift Engineers or O&M managers.
  • Document observations and deviations in designated logs and checklists.
  • Supervise operations in assigned sections and provide regular status updates.
  • Allocate maintenance tasks to the maintenance team and ensure equipment is operational at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of utility usage and chemical additions.
  • Initiate work permits for maintenance and vendor personnel working in the area.
  • Coordinate manpower allocation on an ongoing basis and address any issues immediately with shift-in-charge or Labour Officers.
  • Promote regular housekeeping activities within available resources.
  • Ensure the safety of personnel under supervision and report any unsafe conditions or acts in real-time.
  • Implement permit systems for non-routine works and adhere to LOTO procedures strictly.
  • Closure of safety observations must be completed within prescribed timeframes.
  • Foster adherence to issued safety guidelines and precautions, ensuring the safety of workers under direct supervision.
  • Timely reporting of incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
  • Proper use of PPE as required based on work hazards.

A candidate with adequate knowledge of process safety procedures would be suitable for this role.
