Production leaders are required to oversee the daily operations of a production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in supervising production staff, managing production schedules and meeting targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Supervision:
    • Direct and coordinate the activities of production workers ensuring maximum efficiency.
    • Monitor technicians' performance and provide coaching and guidance as necessary.
    • Assign work tasks and ensure adequate staffing levels.
  • Production Management:
    • Oversee the production process to guarantee production objectives are met.
    • Monitor production timetables and adjust workloads as necessary to meet deadlines.
    • Ensure that production is executed according to company policies and procedures.
    • Prepare equipment and device tags for maintenance purposes.
    • Prepare wiring ferrules for optimal functionality.
    • Responsible for production machine maintenance with relevant records kept.
  • Quality Control:
    • Maintain high standards of product quality by conducting regular inspections and checks.
    • Coordinate with Quality Control teams for regular inspections, quality checks, and punch closing.
    • Address any quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary in coordination with the Quality Control team.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Guarantee compliance with health and safety regulations.
    • Promote a safe working environment and enforce safety policies.
    • Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase productivity.
    • Work with management to develop and implement production strategies.
    • Analyze production data and prepare reports on performance.
  • Resource Management:
    • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure the availability of necessary materials.
    • Maintain equipment and machinery in good working order.
    • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities as needed.
  • Functional Requirements:
    • Minimum five (5) years of experience in a production setting.
    • Proven track record in supervising production teams.
    • Proven experience in managing production schedules and meeting production targets.
    • Experienced in coordinating maintenance and repair activities.
