Regulatory Reporting Job Description

The Regulatory Reporting team plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements related to derivatives and other financial products. The primary responsibility of a regulatory reporting professional is to collect, analyze, and report trading data in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and submit reports according to established timelines
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to trade reporting
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external counterparties to resolve reporting issues
  • Review daily reportable trades for compliance with reporting regulations, including accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
  • Work proactively with Business operations teams, Compliance, IT, and standard industry systems like Tri-Resolve, DTCC, GTR, DUCO, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency in transaction reporting
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, derivatives strategies, and risk management techniques
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements and data analysis tools
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work well under pressure
  • Professional certifications such as the CFA, CPA, or FRM may be beneficial
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
