Key Roles of Business Leader:

We are seeking a visionary leader to drive the growth and profitability of our Ed-tech business in Mangalore, India.

The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of the business, including sales, marketing, product development, and operations, steering the P&L of the designated branch.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to boost revenue growth and profitability for the business.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team to execute the company's goals and objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop plans to expand the customer base.
  • Design and execute marketing campaigns to promote products and services.
  • Manage product development initiatives, including ideation, design, and launch.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of products and services to customers.
  • Develop and manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Identify and mitigate key business risks, including competitive threats, regulatory changes, and market fluctuations.
  • Nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, and customers.
  • Represent the organization at industry events and conferences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in a senior leadership role, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Experience in the Ed-tech industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with experience managing P&L for a business unit.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, developing complex business plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Strong project management skills, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, with a bias towards action and willingness to take calculated risks.
