Job Title: Academic Lead in Physiotherapy

We are seeking a dedicated and accomplished professional to join our team as an Academic Lead in Physiotherapy.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be integral in teaching, research, and service within the department. The role encompasses delivering educational content, conducting pertinent research, and providing service to the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct students in Physiotherapy at various academic levels.
  • Create and maintain course materials and curriculum.
  • Evaluate students' assignments and performance.
  • Conduct research in Physiotherapy, targeting publication in academic journals.
  • Secure external funding to facilitate research activities.
  • Provide academic and career mentorship to students.
  • Oversee student projects and research efforts.
  • Engage in departmental and university service, including committee participation.
  • Promote community and industry engagement.
  • Partner with industry stakeholders to foster collaborative initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Physiotherapy or a related field.
  • Demonstrable ability or potential for research and teaching excellence.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Experience:

  • At least 8 years of experience as an assistant professor.
  • At least 2 years of experience as an associate professor.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A track record of publications in academic journals.
  • Experience in securing research funding.
  • Relevant industry experience in Physiotherapy.
