Company OverviewEASA College of Engineering Technology is an autonomous institution situated in Coimbatore Tamil Nadu specializing in higher education With a workforce of 201-500 employees the college is committed to providing quality education in engineering and technology disciplines Find more information on their website at Job OverviewJoin EASA College of Engineering Technology as a Junior Assistant Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering or Information Technology department This full-time position is based in Coimbatore and is suitable for professionals with one to three years of experience in the field As an Assistant Professor you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education and contributing to research and curriculum development Qualifications and Skills BE B Tech ME M Tech with or without Ph D Strong teaching capabilities with the ability to engage and inspire students at various levels of understanding Proven experience in conducting research and contributing to academic publications and projects Proficiency in developing and structuring curriculum that meets the current industry and educational standards Advanced knowledge and practical experience in programming languages and software development practices Detailed understanding of data structures and designing effective algorithms for problem-solving Knowledgeable in computer networks including network design protocols and security measures Experience with managing and querying databases understanding of database design and optimization Ability to collaborate with faculty members and contribute to departmental initiatives and goals Roles and Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging lessons assessments and evaluations in Computer Science and IT topics Participate in research activities publishing findings and staying updated with the latest industry trends Assist in curriculum development including updating course content and materials to reflect current technologies Provide mentorship and guidance to students encouraging academic growth and professional development Collaborate with peers on projects seminars and workshops that enhance the academic environment Contribute to the academic administration attending departmental meetings and participating in committees Engage in continuous learning and professional development opportunities provided by the college Maintain records of students progress attendance and performance in accordance with institutional policies
