Job Title: Associate Professor of Film Studies
We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Associate Professor of Film Studies to join our academic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of film-related programs, as well as mentoring and evaluating faculty and staff.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in film studies, with a proven track record of academic leadership and program development. They will also possess excellent organizational and time-management skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement film-related programs, including curriculum development and course instruction
- Evaluate and mentor faculty and staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Promote professional development and research opportunities for faculty and staff
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred
- Proven experience in academic administration or operations essential
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills necessary
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with academic management software expected
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team crucial
