Export Operations Manager

At Smart Moves Consultants, we are seeking an experienced Export Operations Manager to join our team. As an Export Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing export orders, ensuring timely and accurate shipment of goods.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and execute export orders received from the sales team.
- Coordinate with liner, freight forwarder, and transporter for cargo booking and container placement.
- Negotiate ocean/air freight rates with CHA, forwarders, and transporters.
- Prepare pre-shipment export documentation.
- Analyze letters of credit.
- Maintain proper records with soft and hard copies, prepare MIS, and daily reports.
- Communicate and drive the message within the export documentation team and other relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate with custom brokers for filling of shipping bills under various incentive schemes.
- Prepare post-shipment export documentation as per customer and overseas statutory requirements.
- Follow up with ADC by visiting/FSSAI to get NOC.
- Coordinate with export inspection agency for pre-shipment inspection certificate (SGS, Intertek & Bureau Veritas).
- Coordinate with the Chamber of Commerce to get the non-preferential certificate of origin.
- Follow up with EpGC to cover export shipments.
- Coordinate with suppliers to get quotes under various incoterms.
- Coordinate and follow up with overseas suppliers for import shipment status and documents.
- Coordinate with finance for payment of customs duty and for customer payment.
- Follow up with ADC with a visit/FSSAI to get NOC.
- Coordinate with liner, freight forwarder, transporter, and custom broker for speedy clearance of import/export cargo.
- Process vendor bills.
- Advance licenses/EPCG application, redemption, and bond closure.
- Monitor duty drawback claims under Section 75.
- Reneal of IGST LUT.
- Responsible for renewal of export house certificate.
- Responsible for generation of waybills on GST portal for inward/outward cargo.
- Visits to various customs offices, DGFT, GST, export promotion councils, export inspection agency as and when required.
- Document submission and follow up with bank for BRC's and control and monitoring EDPMS data and IDPMS data.
- Modifications in IEC and renewal of all the EXIM-related documents on timely basis.
- Preparation and finalization of letter of credit.
- Replies to demand notice of import licenses to attend PH for customs Nhava Sheva/Air cargo complete coordinate for our end duty collection, all the required documents from export dept.
- Replies to deficiency letters of import licenses as well as customs duty calculation to present at customs Nhava Sheva/Air cargo.
- Complete successfully done calculation of composition fees regularization and redemption/clubbing purpose subject to payment of composition fees @0.5% per month on the unfulfilled FOB value, if exports are fulfilled more than 50% within initial/extended EOP or @ 1% per month where exports have been made less than 50% within initial/extended EOP.
- Visit Andheri SEEPZ for development commissioner for pertaining EOU plant permission.
- Personally visit to customs offices for personal hearings ICD Tumb Port Gujarat, Kandla Port Gujarat, Nhava Sheva, and Mumbai Air cargo.
Work timings: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm
Working days: Monday to Saturday. Sunday weekly off.
