Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced technology leader to oversee the growth and development of a high-performing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, leadership experience, and excellent communication skills.

">Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Serve as a people manager and support the career development of individuals on the team.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to understand current and upcoming needs and plan accordingly.
  • Strategy: Define strategy and rally the group around shared goals, shape team culture.
  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships and stakeholders, including peer leaders and technical leaders.
  • Collaborative Environment: Collaborate with partner teams across the organization to build towards a common goal.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Technical Experience: 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
  • Leadership Experience: 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.
Preferred Qualifications
  • System Programming: Experience with system programming/kernel development.
  • Virtualization/Operating System Security: Experience with developing virtualization (hypervisor) or operating system security.
  • Complexity Management: Experience leading through technical and organizational complexity.
  • Collaboration: Experience driving collaborations in a distributed engineering organization.
  • Technical Strategy: Ability to set and drive the technical strategy, and provide detailed technical guidance to the team, enabling them to execute effectively.
  • Interest in Security: Interest in the security space.
