Senior Manager, Software Engineering

  • This role is crucial for an accomplished leader who can drive complex problem-solving and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable software.
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in C# and Python, with experience in cloud native environments and expertise in dealing with huge amounts of data, transformations, and report generation.
  • They will also possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, interpersonal, and motivational skills, with the ability to transition smoothly from theoretical concepts to implementation.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of scalable software solutions using C#, Python, and cloud native technologies.
  • Drive the design and development of complex software systems, ensuring they are consistent, robust, future-proof, and scalable.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate technical risks and improve the overall development process.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to identify key use cases and provide technical expertise to the estimation process.
  • Develop project plans and regularly update higher management on progress.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members and contribute to the growth and development of the team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
