Job Title: Marketplace Manager
">The role of a marketplace manager involves leading and managing our presence across online marketplaces. This is a hands-on position where the individual will directly manage listings, ads, recommendations, and settlements, while leveraging technology to optimize performance and growth.
">Key Responsibilities:
Marketplace management involves end-to-end operations across platforms. The individual will own these operations, including creating, updating, and optimizing product listings with accurate pricing, images, and descriptions.
Advertising involves running and optimizing Product Listing Ads (PLAs), sponsored campaigns, and ensuring strong ROI. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving sales and growth on marketplaces.
Recommendations and visibility involve working with marketplace category managers to drive product recommendations and secure premium placements. The individual will also monitor sales, ads, stock, and competitor benchmarks.
Settlements and reconciliation involve tracking payouts, commissions, returns, and ensuring accurate financial settlements. The individual will be responsible for executing tasks assigned by management.
Performance tracking involves monitoring key performance indicators and preparing weekly dashboards for management. The ideal candidate will have experience in data analysis and reporting.
Execution oversight involves leading execution teams and ensuring timely delivery of tasks. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- A graduate or MBA degree with 3–6 years of experience in marketplace/e-commerce management is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving sales and growth on marketplaces.
- Prior experience in fashion, jewelry, or consumer brands is desirable.
