Job Title: Legal Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Professional to drive transformation initiatives across sanctions, AML, financial crime risk, third-party risk management, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal compliance, risk, or regulatory advisory with a proven ability to build resilient compliance frameworks in a global business.

  • Lead initiatives on digital transformation in compliance, AML screening, financial crime risk, gap assessments, and third-party risk management.
  • Drive process re-engineering, automation, and change management to strengthen compliance effectiveness.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills. They will be able to partner with leadership to build a culture of compliance within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Training & Awareness: Enhance global compliance training programs beyond standard modules.
  • Sanctions Advisory: Provide expert guidance on sanctions regulations across jurisdictions.
  • Policies & SOPs: Draft, review, and update policies, SOPs, and frameworks to align with evolving regulations.
  • Risk & Transformation: Lead initiatives on digital transformation in compliance, AML screening, financial crime risk, gap assessments, and third-party risk management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 14–15 years of progressive experience in legal compliance, risk, or regulatory advisory.
  • Background in consulting firms, multinational corporates, or regulatory advisory roles.
  • Experience in policy development, compliance training, and sanctions/AML advisory.
  • Strong leadership experience with proven ability to manage teams.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
