About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and targeting potential clients within the heavy machinery, oil & gas, energy, infrastructure, and construction sectors. You will develop and implement sales strategies for project cargo, aiming to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
- Client Targeting: Identify potential clients within key sectors and develop tailored sales approaches to secure new business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and achieve target sales figures.
- Cargo Handling Expertise: Develop a strong understanding of project cargo handling, heavy-lift operations, and regulatory requirements to provide expert advice to clients.
- Tech Support: Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth execution of each project from planning to delivery.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in Freight Forwarding or Logistics industry with at least 2 years in project cargo sales.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of project cargo handling, heavy-lift operations, and regulatory requirements.
Estimated Salary Range:
₹60,000 - ₹1,20,000 per month based on experience and qualifications.
