Senior Portfolio Credit Analyst

This is a senior role within the Portfolio Management Group where you will be handling credit coverage for EMEA subsidiaries of Japanese Corporates.

The ideal candidate should have 6-8 years of working experience in financial institutions or equivalent, with excellent communication skills and a strong analytical mindset. Additionally, proficiency in Japanese language is preferred. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a designated portfolio of Japanese corporate credit customers, performing due diligence and scheduled reviews regularly, analyzing credit risk, determining accurate ratings, and making recommendations to management.

You will also prepare detailed credit analysis and applications in accordance with EMEA Credit Policy, identify structural risks and mitigants in prospective transactions, and recommend/enhance structuring of deals and covenants. Furthermore, you will advise relationship managers on credit risk issues, terms & conditions, and create the best possible deal.

Requirements:
  • 6-8 years of working experience in financial institutions or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Japanese language skill preferred
  • MBA Finance or CA or CFA degree required
