Job Overview

This is a high-profile role for a Senior Structural Dynamics Engineer with extensive experience in earthquake engineering and capital projects.

  • The ideal candidate will provide expert guidance on all aspects of structural dynamics, from concept to construction, working within a highly accomplished department that consistently delivers world-class results.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Interpreting industry standards, guidelines, and codes for project deliverables
  • Reviewing geotechnical reports and integrating findings into foundation and civil designs
  • Developing and tracking work schedules in line with prime contract requirements
  • Leading technical discussions with clients and suppliers regarding dynamic machine foundations and tabletop foundations
  • Preparing and presenting detailed reports and analyses for vibration studies
  • Providing solutions for structures/foundations in high seismic zones
  • Conducting interdisciplinary quality reviews, focusing on key deliverables (equipment foundations, pipe racks, technological structures, etc.)
Requirements

To succeed in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Master's in Structural Engineering
  • Five to ten years of structural engineering experience, preferably with an EPC background
  • A solid understanding of engineering techniques and codes (e.g., IBC, AISC, ACI, ASCE7, PIP)
  • Proficiency with structural software tools (e.g., RISA, STAAD) and strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, facilitate teamwork, and drive collaboration
  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with experience working on US-based projects
