About Us

We provide special education and vocational training for individuals with Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, and Down Syndrome.

Our team offers pre-vocational and vocational training programs, including the NIOS curriculum, supported by a multidisciplinary team of rehabilitation professionals providing physiotherapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy.

We are building a dynamic team of special educators to work with learners with multiple disabilities and to guide participants in the NIOS program.

Role Overview

We seek a skilled Speech Therapist who is passionate about supporting diverse learners and fostering inclusive education.

  • Conduct assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities using standardised tests and informal evaluations.
  • Develop and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's specific needs and goals.
  • Provide one-on-one and group speech therapy sessions to improve articulation, fluency, language comprehension, and expressive communication.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in developing and implementing IEPs, providing instructional support tailored to students' unique needs, maintaining thorough documentation and reporting, managing student behaviour effectively, and adapting curriculum to ensure accessibility and engagement for all learners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with special education teachers, occupational therapists, psychologists, and parents to support integrated student development.
  • Monitor and document students' progress and adapt therapy plans as needed.
  • Educate and train staff and caregivers on communication strategies and support techniques.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.
  • Maintain detailed records and comply with regulatory standards.

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid certification or license to practice as a Speech Therapist.
  • 3 to 7 years experience working with children and adults with multiple disabilities.
  • Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology and specialised instructional strategies.
  • Patience, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and assistive aids.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Good organisational and documentation skills.
