Job Description

As a seasoned investment professional, you will play a crucial role in managing and maintaining the portfolios of various private equity funds. This includes analyzing financial reports, calculating fund valuation data, and tracking operational KPIs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing cash flows and quarterly financial reports to analyze PE fund performance
  • Calculating fund valuation data, including investment cost, realized/unrealized value, gross/net multiple, and financial KPIs such as revenue, EBITDA, net debt, and valuation/leverage multiples
  • Tracking operational KPIs and updates on a quarterly basis
  • Creating and updating fund track records, reconciling data using cash flow notices
  • Calculating fund multiples and IRRs, performing attribution and value creation analysis
  • Reconciling portfolio-level operational data, including geographical presence, headquarters, and portfolio leverage
  • Coordinating with teams to obtain timely information and communicate with clients on task status
Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A post-graduate degree or CFA/CA/MBA/CCRA/CIIA/CAIA certification
  • 1-10 years of experience in financial services, preferably with research experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage a varied workload
  • Initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to take on responsibilities
  • Solutions-focused and able to work in unstructured environments
