Job Title:

Hedge Fund Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Hedge Fund Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, P&L reconciliation, and cash reconciliation to ensure accurate reporting and operational efficiency for hedge fund portfolios.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Daily NAV Calculations: Prepare and review daily NAV calculations for hedge fund portfolios.
  • P&L Reconciliation: Perform P&L reconciliation between fund administrator reports, internal records, and prime broker statements.
  • Cash Reconciliation: Carry out cash reconciliation across custodians, banks, and internal systems.
  • Discrepancy Investigation: Investigate and resolve discrepancies in positions, pricing, fees, and expenses.
  • Month-End and Year-End Closing: Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Performance Reporting: Assist in performance reporting and investor statements.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in fund accounting or hedge fund operations.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
