About the Job

Hopewind is a leading player in the renewable energy sector, and we are looking for a skilled Sales and Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and BD, with a focus on solar components and a proven track record of building and maintaining customer relationships.

The role involves working closely with our solar distribution channels and strategically important customers to identify and develop new business opportunities. You will also be responsible for providing market-competition intelligence and using MS tools to drive sales growth within assigned territory/key accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and develop long-term relationships with solar distribution channels and strategically important customers.
  • Focused on sales opportunities with solar EPC leaders, distributors, and installers.
  • Effective use of MS tools, market-competition intelligence, and customer connection within assigned territory/key accounts.
  • Actively support MNRE, BIS, and IEC approvals for products as per requirement.
  • Participate in events like exhibitions, seminars, and conferences to promote Hopewind Brand and create new business opportunities.
Requirements
  • Graduate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience in sales/BD roles.
  • Proven account management skills required to create, maintain, and enhance customer relationships.
  • Experience in managing solar EP key accounts for technical problem-solving and business development activities.
  • Good technical knowledge of solar photovoltaic systems, solar on-grid string inverters, international/BIS certifications, etc.

The estimated salary for this role is ₹15,00,000 - ₹20,00,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
