Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager
Job Description:This senior-level role is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounts payable department.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and leadership, with experience in managing teams and implementing efficient processes.
In this capacity, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and expense reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise Invoice Processing: Oversee the receipt, verification, and payment of vendor invoices.
- Manage AP Staff: Train, develop, and lead a team of accounts payable professionals to ensure seamless operation.
- Maintain Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies, tax regulations, and accounting standards.
- Develop Processes: Implement efficient AP procedures to improve accuracy and reduce costs.
- Monitor Vendor Accounts: Track vendor activity, resolve discrepancies, and maintain positive relationships.
- Support Audits: Collaborate with internal audit teams to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Proven experience in accounts payable or accounting, with leadership experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and AP best practices.
- Proficiency in ERP/accounting systems and MS Excel.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines.
