Job Role: Area Operation Manager

A seasoned Operations Executive is sought to oversee a cluster/region with 10-15 properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Understand the company's vision, operational structure, organisational hierarchy, and user demographics.
  2. Implement operational standards across all departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, maintenance & engineering, human resources, etc.
  3. Oversee hotel/hostel regional operations, ensuring adherence to company-defined standards.
  4. Develop and implement effective HR strategies, fostering a positive work environment for high productivity.
  5. Conduct regular audits to monitor service quality, identify improvements, and take corrective actions.
  6. Manage operational budgets, allocate resources effectively, and minimise expenses through cost-effective strategies.
  7. Supervise timely hostel pre-launches, ensuring operational readiness and quality checks.
  8. Enhance guest satisfaction by addressing escalations, implementing service improvements, and ensuring a positive experience.
  9. Collaborate with internal departments and build relationships with industry professionals to stay updated on trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in hospitality/hotel management.
  2. Minimum 6 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with extensive operational experience in managing multiple properties or regions.
  3. Proven track record of successfully scaling teams, managing diverse operations, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Excellent analytical, communication, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
  5. Fluency in English and local language is mandatory.
  6. Willingness to travel and manage hotels/hostels across various locations.
