Job Role Overview

  • We are looking for a skilled Energy Storage Professional to support our company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Electrical System Design

The ideal candidate will have experience in electrical system design of battery-based energy storage systems, including knowledge of PCS, BMS, EMS, and SCADA designs. This will involve ensuring the optimal configuration and integration of these systems to meet operational requirements.

Codes, Standards, and Regulations

Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and regulations in the USA is essential for this role. The candidate should be able to navigate and apply these guidelines to ensure compliance and minimize risk.

Technical Review and Compliance

Experience in conducting technical reviews of documents and installations to determine compliance is necessary. This involves assessing the adequacy of design, implementation, and testing against relevant standards and regulations.

Battery Technologies and Parameters

Knowledge of fundamental aspects and main characteristics of current battery technologies, including their relation to battery parameters, is required. The candidate should be able to evaluate the suitability of different battery types and configurations for various applications.

Project Management and Coordination

Project management skills, including bid management and project lifecycle management, are essential. The candidate should be able to coordinate multiple stakeholders, manage timelines, and ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems)
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering or a relevant field. PhD in similar fields also welcome
  • Ability to read and comprehend electrical and mechanical schematics, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations
  • Excellent communication, analytical, planning, time management, and customer service skills
  • Competent skills using Microsoft office software like Outlook, Excel, Word
  • Client management, team management, and process management skills
