Mainframe Z/OS Expert

We are seeking an experienced mainframe z/OS administrator with a strong background in the installation and configuration of z/OS operating systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with the installation and configuration of z/OS operation system, as well as a strong knowledge of various basic OS components including ISV products.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and configuration of z/OS operating systems.
  • Strong knowledge of various basic OS components including ISV products.
  • Ability to make I/O Configuration changes.

The selected candidate will also possess good knowledge of WLM, CFRM, SA and TWS. Additionally, they should have experience with administration and configuration of IBM Mainframe Storage Servers (EMC) and DLm, including support for IODF/ IOCDS Creation for new Systems, Storage Configuration, Storage Policies, Implementation & I/O Configuration through HCD.

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with installation and configuration of z/OS operation system.
  • Strong knowledge of various basic OS components including ISV products.
  • Ability to make I/O Configuration changes.
  • Good knowledge of WLM, CFRM, SA and TWS.
  • Experience with administration and configuration of IBM Mainframe Storage Servers (EMC) and DLm.

  • Strong knowledge of storage related software/tools installation, configuration and maintenance rollout.
