Job Title: Mainframe CICS Administrator

Experience: 5–7 years

Location: Pune / Mumbai / Chennai / Bangalore / Hyderabad

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CICS systems programming and administration activities.
• Handle CICS version upgrades, CICS TS upgrades, and Transaction Server upgrades.
• Execute CICS maintenance activities using SMP/E.
• Manage CICS RDO (Resource Definition Online) – define and manage CICS resources online/offline.
• Create, configure, and sunset CICS regions as required.
• Modify CICS configurations and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide support for z/OS Connect (added advantage).

Technical Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of CICS Systems Programming.
• Expertise in z/OS, JCL, REXX, VSAM, Endevor, CA7, ServiceNow, and z/OS Explorer.
• Experience with CICS upgrades and maintenance via SMP/E.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
