Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress with Java/JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define test coverage.
  • Contribute to building reusable test frameworks and automation suites.
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and integration testing using automation.
  • Log, track, and verify bugs/defects using tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps.
  • Assist in test plan creation and participate in reviews of requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Support continuous integration and delivery by integrating automation scripts with CI/CD

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on knowledge of Selenium or Cypress with Java or JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of automation testing concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with testing types: smoke, sanity, regression, and integration testing.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills for web applications and APIs.
  • Experience with API testing tools like Postman or Rest Assured.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
