Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Automation Tester to join our team. This is a remote position that offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects and collaborate with experienced professionals.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in automation testing, strong proficiency in Java (8+), REST Assured, and Appium, and hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing automation frameworks for API, backend, and mobile application testing, integrating automated tests with CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring API contracts adhere to standards using tools like Postman, Swagger, and OpenAPI.

A strong understanding of API authentication mechanisms, database testing, and mobile automation testing using Appium for Android and iOS is essential.

The Automation Tester will also collaborate in Agile environments using methodologies like Scrum or Kanban, and ensure seamless integration with other teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in automation testing
  • Strong proficiency in Java (8+), REST Assured, and Appium
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD
  • Experience in API testing, request validation, and response verification
  • Knowledge of database testing using SQL or NoSQL databases
  • Strong understanding of API authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, Basic Auth, etc.)
  • Experience in mobile automation testing using Appium for Android and iOS
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
