Our client is on the lookout for a proficient Automation Tester with experience in Playwright and either Java or Python. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and executing automated tests to ensure our software products are of the highest quality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate the smooth integration of automated testing into the development process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement automated test scripts using Playwright in conjunction with Java or Python.
  • Develop and maintain a robust test automation framework.
  • Execute regression, performance, and functional testing to validate software functionality.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to establish clear testing requirements.
  • Track, document, and communicate software defects and issues in a timely manner.
  • Participate in the review of requirements, specifications, and design documents to provide timely feedback on testing considerations.
  • Contribute to the overall improvement of testing planning and execution processes.

Requirements

Key Requirements:

  • 5- 8 years of experience in Automation Testing with a focus on Playwright using either Java or Python.
  • Experience with other automation testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Experience working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) environments and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum team environment.
  • Experience with performance testing tools is a plus.
