About the Role

We are looking for a motivated QA Tester with 12 years of experience in manual and functional testing, with basic exposure to automation testing and load/performance testing. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail, good analytical skills, and the ability to work closely with development teams to ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform manual and functional testing for web/mobile applications.
  • Create, review, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs/defects using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
  • Perform regression testing, smoke testing, and sanity testing.
  • Assist in writing basic automation scripts (Selenium / Cypress / Playwright).
  • Support load and performance testing using tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner (basic level).
  • Participate in test coverage analysis and support continuous improvement of QA processes.
  • Prepare test reports and ensure timely communication of test results.

Required Skills

  • 12 years of experience in manual/functional testing.
  • Hands-on experience with test case creation, defect reporting, and test execution.
  • Basic understanding of automation testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, etc.).
  • Exposure to load testing tools like JMeter (beginner level is fine).
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and bug life cycle.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools like Postman (added advantage).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have

  • Knowledge of SQL for basic data validation.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Java, or JavaScript).
