Senior Logistics Operations Director

Job Opportunity:
This is a senior leadership role requiring strong analytical and problem-solving skills to direct the ground transportation and operations team. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in logistics, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and be able to drive cost savings and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of professionals responsible for ground transportation and operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize operational costs and improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and mitigate risks.
- Drive digitalization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop customized solutions to meet customer needs.
- Conduct regular reviews with internal and external customers to gather feedback and assess partner performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or PG preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in logistics.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Specialist Knowledge & Skills:
- Familiarity with Transport Industry, Practices, EXIM, and Profitability levers.
- Able to deal with ambiguities, conflicting priorities, and work under pressure.
