Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Snowflake professional to oversee the management and maintenance of our Snowflake environment.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Snowflake Administration, Cost Optimization, and Integration with MSK (Kafka).

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain Snowflake resources, including warehouses, databases, and users.
  • Monitor and manage costs associated with Snowflake usage.
  • Provision databases, warehouses, and other Snowflake resources as needed.
  • Integrate Snowflake with MSK (Mandatory).
  • Implement and manage Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure proper access controls.
  • Integrate Snowflake with AWS services, such as S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
  • Integrate Snowflake with Cortex AI.
  • Configure and manage network policies to ensure secure access to Snowflake resources.
  • Develop and maintain Python scripts to automate Snowflake administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • MSK Experience: Must have experience with MSK integration.
  • Snowflake Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Snowflake administration.
  • DevOps Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in DevOps practices.
  • Strong Understanding of RBAC: Must have a strong understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) concepts.
  • Cost Administration: Must have experience in Cost Management (visibility, control, and optimization).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Cortex AI integration with Snowflake.
  • Experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse, including data modeling and performance optimization.
  • Experience with AWS services, including S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
  • Experience in Python scripting for automating Snowflake administrative tasks.
