Job Overview

Evaluate complex intellectual property and research & development opportunities. Work closely with experienced professionals across the entire innovation cycle to deliver strategic insights that shape the future.

  • Support patent filings and prosecution worldwide
  • Update and maintain dockets for global clients, following up on patent applications and communications
  • Prepare key documents and communicate effectively with clients and attorneys
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patent portfolios and verify patent family members via PTO registers
  • Identify and correct errors in patent documents
  • Manage projects efficiently and effectively with high quality standards
Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with a large customer base of leading companies to create innovative products
  • Assist in maintaining daily dockets for clients worldwide and following up on patent and trademark application filings and prosecution
  • Prepare key documents such as Information disclosure statements, patent assignments, declarations, power of attorneys, title amendments worldwide etc.
  • Verify patent family members via PTO registers and commercial databases
  • Check bibliographic, assignment and priority details from PTO registers and file histories
  • Proofread patent documents to identify errors introduced by patent offices and/or applicants
  • Manage efficient project delivery with high quality standards
Requirements:
  • Relevant work experience in Paralegal and Docketing
  • Sound knowledge of IP paralegal functions
  • Knowledge of patent prosecution laws in key jurisdictions i.e., US, EP, PCT, JP, CN etc.
  • Ability to ensure tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-versed in MS Office with expertise in MS-Excel

As an ideal candidate, you should have strong analytical skills, ability to work independently, and be well-organized.
