As a key member of the Finance team, the Financial Operations Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing strategic insights to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of accounting operations, development of internal control policies, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Management of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Collaboration with external auditors and consultants by providing requested documents and explanations and addressing findings promptly.
  • Expertise in financial and legal due-diligence processes and delivery under pressure situations.
  • Assistance in developing annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitoring of budget performance and collaboration with department heads to manage expenses effectively.
  • Ensurance of compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Management of cash flow and liquidity to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Monitoring of receivables, payables, and working capital to optimize cash utilization.
  • Development of strategies to mitigate cash flow risks and enhance financial stability.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A Chartered Accountant with 10-15 years of working experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in a D2C startup is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, team building, and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across departments, create department-level SOPs in compliance with accounting procedures, and influence stakeholders at multiple levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Financial Management software.
