Job Overview

The Director of Engineering will oversee the maintenance and upkeep of physical plant facilities with a focus on safety, security, and asset protection.

This includes managing operational costs, capital projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation initiatives to deliver products and services that meet or exceed guest and employee expectations while maximizing financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage engineering operations and allocate resources effectively
  • Ensure the proper functioning of equipment, refrigeration systems, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment, and electrical systems
  • Administer service contracts to support property needs and optimize efficiency
  • Capture data and statistics on energy usage and maintain accurate records
  • Schedule repairs and maintenance tasks as required to minimize downtime
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 6 years experience in engineering and maintenance or a related field
  • Technical training in HVAC-R, Electrical, Plumbing
  • Or 2-year degree from an accredited university in Building and Construction, Engineering, Mechanics, or a related major
  • 4 years experience in engineering and maintenance or a related field
