Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership
  1. Develop long-term vision and strategy for the Centre.
  2. Design programs and initiatives aligned with the Centre's mandate in financial markets research and education.
  • Education and Research Program Management
  1. Support research projects, working papers, and publications in financial markets and related areas.
  2. Drive faculty-led research, student engagement, and visiting scholar initiatives.
  3. Organise training programs, workshops, seminars, conferences, and certificate courses.
  • Industry and Stakeholder Engagement
  1. Build partnerships with financial institutions, statutory bodies, regulatory institutions, industry associations, and other organisations.
  2. Host seminars, panel discussions, and talks/lectures by industry experts.
  • Operational Oversight
  1. Manage day-to-day administration of the Centre, including budgeting, reporting, and resource planning.
  2. Supervise support staff, interns, and research associates.
  • Communication and Outreach
  1. Oversee the Centre's visibility, including publications, newsletters, and website updates.
  2. Represent the Centre at conferences, academic forums, and industry meetings.

Desired Profile:

  • Masters or Ph.D. degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or related discipline.
  • At least 15 years of experience in academia, research institutions, financial services companies, industry associations, or other relevant organisations.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage academic and research programs.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience with academic institutions or research centres.
  • Strong professional network in finance or policy domains.
  • Familiarity with grant writing, fundraising, and donor engagement.
