Job Opportunity

Mortgage Origination is a critical role that entails comprehensive management of mortgage loan products in the US Home Loan market.

  • Direct day-to-day supervision of junior team members, encompassing attendance, training, hiring, recruiting, and performance evaluations.
  • Interface professionally with title companies, clients, real estate agents, mortgage loan officers, and mortgage lenders to ensure successful transactions.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction by facilitating the application process, overseeing all mortgage loan closings, and completing post-closing requirements efficiently.

Responsibilities also include:

  • Ensuring adherence to lender underwriting guidelines and federal/state regulations.
  • Developing high-quality coaching and training programs for new and existing staff.
  • Utilizing quality assurance data to drive improvements in overall lender decision-making.
  • Identifying gaps and documenting processes and procedures.

Key qualifications include:

  • Minimum 6-8 years of mortgage origination experience (post-closing review, PQA, etc.) and correspondent experience (end-to-end value chain) in US Home Loan products.
  • Working knowledge of mortgage industry regulations and TRID guidelines.
  • Management experience in human resources or operations management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good supervision, organization, and math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.

The Manager will be responsible for maintaining service level standards, identifying training needs, implementing trainings, creating key results areas (KRAs) for the team, reviewing process compliance, conducting internal governance, and supporting team leaders and other team members.
