Job Title

Dam Instrumentation Specialist to serve as the nodal expert for overall coordination and implementation of DHARMA, leading the establishment of Centralized Control and Command Centres in State capitals and individual control rooms at DRIP dams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review instrumentation action plans in Project Screening Templates (PSTs) and finalize them concerning instrumentation, SCADA, and Surveillance & Control Systems.
  • Provide technical support for the establishment of Centralized Control and Command Centres in various State capitals and individual control rooms at DRIP dams.
  • Oversee data collection, transmission, processing, and analysis, finalizing outcome report protocols.
  • Ensure proper Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of established instrumentation at DRIP dams.
  • Manage technical hardware, software, and data transmission for all instrumentation plans designed or received from DRIP IAs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • At least 10 years of experience in planning of instrumentations, technical specifications of instruments, SCADA, Surveillance, Control System, and automation in dams, data analysis, preparation of instrumentation plan of dams, work supervision of installation and commissioning of dam instrumentation etc. in minimum 3 large dams.
