Job Description:

This role involves overseeing financial operations as we scale from $5M to $50M in ARR over the next couple of years.

You'll work closely with the CEO, executive team and investors to develop and execute financial strategies that drive growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and execute all financial operations like payroll processing, vendor payouts and collections.
  • Oversee compliance requirements, including statutory taxes and accounts receivables.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting, working closely with department heads.
  • Oversee cash management, monitoring cash flow and optimizing working capital.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including investors and banks.
  • Support fundraising efforts, developing investor presentations and financial projections.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
  • Drive operational efficiency by monitoring costing activities and identifying saving initiatives.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in finance controllership, accounting or a related field.
  • Experience building the finance function from scratch for a scaling SaaS company is desirable.
  • Ability to adapt to uncertainty and navigate early-stage challenges.
  • Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
