**Database Migration Leader Position**

As a seasoned IT professional, you will be responsible for leading complex database migrations across various platforms, including data center and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in Oracle Exadata and Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive migration strategy, methodologies, and best practices to ensure successful migrations with minimal downtime.
  • Plan, design, and execute Oracle database migrations across multiple platforms, including Data Center-to-Data Center, AWS-to-AWS, Azure-to-Azure, and Oracle Exadata environments.
  • Collaborate with cloud architects, infrastructure teams, and application owners to ensure smooth migration with minimal business disruption.
  • Document migration runbooks, rollback procedures, and knowledge transfer to ensure seamless delivery.

Must-Have Skills:

  • 12+ years of Oracle Database experience, with 5+ years in leadership/managerial roles overseeing database migration programs.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale Oracle migrations in multi-cloud, Exadata, and ExaCC environments.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Exadata administration, migration, and performance tuning, as well as Oracle Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) implementation and management.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud-native database solutions in AWS (RDS, EC2, S3) and Azure (Azure SQL, Blob Storage, Recovery Vaults).

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Knowledge of GoldenGate for real-time replication.
  • Familiarity with Terraform/Ansible for IaC-based DB provisioning.
  • Experience in hybrid migration scenarios (on-prem to Exadata, Exadata to ExaCC, ExaCC to cloud).
