Database Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled database design specialist to lead the implementation of high-performance databases. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing databases that meet performance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design high-performance databases using MySQL Enterprise Versions Products.
  • Migrate databases from MySQL to Maria and vice-versa with minimal disruption to services.
  • Configure and troubleshoot MySQL Enterprise Monitor (MEM) and Oracle Enterprise Monitor (OEM).
  • Develop and maintain database backups and logical backups using mysqldump/mysqlpump.
  • Configure and troubleshoot InnoDB Cluster and Master-Slave replication configurations.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop high-performance database functionalities and resolve MySQL Performance Issues.
  • Provide solutions and troubleshoot issues related to public cloud databases.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of MariaDB and NoSQL databases is an added advantage.
  • Good understanding of data management, including permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring.
  • Ensure all database programs meet organization and performance requirements.
  • User management, space management, and shell scripting.
  • Close coordination and planning with Client sub-teams.
  • Good communication skills to work with foreign clients.
